Winaca Eco-Cultural Village, a hidden paradise nestled in Tublay, Benguet. It’s a private property-owned land and it’s being taken care of by the Capuyans – one of the riches people in town. They owned most of the establishment in the locality including Narda’s.
Winaca was finally opened to public around 3 years ago. It offers a lot of adventures including Eco walk, mudslide, zipline, fishing, etc. If you’re into adventure, you’ll definitely love and treasure this place.
The property is about 42 hectares. From the gate (main entrance) with a very big sign of “Winaca Eco-Cultural Village” to the registration area, you’ll have to walk for like 15 minutes.
Amazingly, the 15-minute walk to the Green Restaurant was never boring for we were able to appreciate the fruit of nature.
The Green Restaurant at the middle of the mountain.
You have a choice whether to try the traditional “Igorot” dish which is of course the “etag” or try the usual filipino dish like pancit.
Pork Barbecue
After that mouth-watering and healthy lunch, you can choose which activity you’d like to try while savoring the beauty of Winaca. We tried Eco-Walk which costs P50.00 per head.
It was indeed an eco-cultural walk for most of the things our eyes saw were traditional houses.
It took us almost an hour to trek the whole area. This place is indeed wonderful. The trek starts here.
Winaca Eco-trail is a hiding place for distressed heart and soul and at the same time, a nest for nature lovers. Come, visit and enjoy Winaca in Tublay, Benguet.
WOW! I don’t know what kind of tree the one that looks like an umbrella, but it is amazing. Looks like a giant fern.
